CRUSADER’S REQUIEM

Hubba!  Hubba! C’est le vive!
Alma Mater, Mater Dei!
She’s done her time,
She’s whelped Her Brood,
So, off to pasture
Resigned, voo-doo’d.

Marian has failed to pass the test of time.
Our School’s Holy Spirit has been de-throned, and
stripped of Her Name, and is soon to be bulldozed
and burned as trash and brush,
at the Last Homecoming Bonfire.

Alma Mater, Mary, Mater Dei !
So, Behold, and be it known, dear Californicators,
that the Summer of Love Class of ’67,
hereby curses YOU to always losing
Your Homecoming Games, for the NEXT 40 years,
should Your new campus last that long!
And You will remember Your Last Win
on Marian’s Home Field,
for the rest of Your Solemn Lives

It is my dearest wish that many alumni will
BOYCOTT this Last Homecoming Game and Bonfire,
so as to avoid any celebration of Marian’s demise.
